Description: Scarce inscribed and signed forties portrait. Films include the horror classic Dr. Cyclops (1940), Among the Living (1941), Elia Kazan's East of Eden (1955), Robert Aldrich's Kiss Me Deadly (1955), and Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch (1969). The great character actor (1905-1968) died under unusual and highly questionable circumstances; depending on which account one reads, Dekker either committed suicide, perished accidentally from autoerotic asphyxiation, or was murdered.
