Description:  Surpassingly scarce autograph album page signed Johnny Lee with "Calhoun" underneath, the name of his character on CBS's The Amos 'n' Andy Show.  The autograph of actor Phil Regan is on the reverse.  Lee (1898-1965) was a favorite of early TV audiences for playing shyster lawyer Algonquin J. Calhoun on the hit sitcom, which ran from 1951 to 1953.  The gifted comic and dancer-singer also provided the voice of Br'er Rabbit in Walt Disney's 1946 classic, Song of the South.  Other films include Tales of Manhattan (1942), Stormy Weather (1943), The First Traveling Saleslady (1956), The Spirit of St. Louis (1957), and North to Alaska (1960).  One of our rarest-ever offerings.  (Vintage item circa early fifties)
