Description:  Doubleweight early fifties portrait signed by the Oscar-winning screen legend (1923-2008) who starred in some of the greatest successes of the studio era, including The Ten Commandments (1956), The Big Country (1958), Ben-Hur (1959), Planet of the Apes (1968), and The Omega Man (1971).  Very rare; many of Heston's autographs are secretarial, and this is a scarce item from the onset of his career.  (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
