Description: Dated 1931 Autographed Letter Signed (First National Studios letterhead). Saunders (1895-1940) was the Oscar-winning screenwriter husband of King Kong star Fay Wray. He had a special interest in aviation, and he wrote the screenplay for Wings, the first Academy Award-winning film. Saunders committed suicide in 1940 and his autographs are scarce.
