Description:  Scarce signed and inscribed paper.  The Polish-born character actor (1896-1958) appeared in several wartime classics including Berlin Correspondent (1942), Desperate Journey (1942), Background to Danger (1943), The Mask of Dimitrios (1944), and The Conspirators (1944).  He also had parts in the Lon Chaney, Jr. horror film The Mummy's Curse (1944), Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy (1955), and Pharaoh's Curse (1957).  Included:  a rare original 8x10 portrait taken for Salome, Where She Danced (1945).  (Vintage item circa mid-forties)
