Description:  Extremely rare signed envelope from the WWII era.  Baggett appeared mostly in decorative bit parts but had more substantial roles in The Time of Their Lives (1946), the film noir classics D.O.A. (1949) and The Mob (1951), and The Flame and the Arrow (1950).  The unstable starlet's life ended in 1960, when she overdosed on barbiturates at age thirty-six.  (Vintage item postmarked MAR 1 1945)
