Description:  Extremely scarce forties or fifties photograph of the Los Angeles architectural marvel built in 1926, designed by Lloyd Wright, son of Frank Lloyd Wright.  Sowden House was once the residence of Dr. George Hodel, briefly a suspect in the Black Dahlia (Elizabeth Short) murder case of 1947.  A beautiful image from the renowned archives of Ewing Galloway of New York (backstamped).  (Vintage original photograph)
