Description:  Extremely rare late forties portrait signed by the great film and TV character actor (1912-1991), famous for appearing in several film noir classics.  Kroeger exuded a quiet menace that made him one of the most distinctive performers of the genre.  Films include Cry of the City (1948), Act of Violence (1948), The Dark Past (1948), Chicago Deadline (1949), Gun Crazy (1950), Nightmare in Wax (1969), The Incredible Two-Headed Transplant (1971), and Demon Seed (1977).  (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
