Description:  Rare doubleweight thirties portrait, inscribed and signed by the renowned comic character actor (1886-1970).  Ruggles appeared in some of the most enjoyable classics of the thirties and forties, such as Love Me Tonight (1932), Trouble in Paradise (1932), Murders in the Zoo (1933), Ruggles of Red Gap (1936), Bringing Up Baby (1938), and It Happened on Fifth Avenue (1947).  He also made guest appearances on TV's The Andy Griffith Show, Bewitched, The Munsters, and many others.  (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
