Description: Exceptionally scarce portrait, inscribed and signed (Jiminy "Cliff" Cricket). The character actor and singer (also known as "Ukulele Ike") appeared in Gone with the Wind and was the voice of Jiminy Cricket in Walt Disney's supreme animated feature, Pinocchio. It was Edwards who sang the film's classic "When You Wish upon a Star," which has become the representative song of the Walt Disney Company. The photo is date-stamped JN 24 1940 on the reverse; 1940 was the year of Pinocchio's release. (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
