Description: Scarce inscribed and signed portrait from the late fifties or early sixties. Donovan (1918-1987) had one of the lead roles in Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), the enduring sci-fi-classic directed by Don Siegel. He also had roles in Singin' in the Rain (1952), The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953), The Magnetic Monster (1953), and The Defiant Ones (1958), as well as many TV programs including Maverick, Bonanza, Rawhide, and The Beverly Hillbillies.
