Desccription: Extremely scarce doubleweight portrait circa mid-twenties, inscribed and signed by the celebrated comic actor, one of the great stars of the historic Keystone Studios. Swain had a memorable role in Charlie Chaplin's 1925 classic, The Gold Rush. He passed away at only fifty-nine in 1935. (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
