Acquired by a Southern California fan circa early forties, toward the end of the films' production.  The phenomenally popular Our Gang comedies, first produced in 1922, ran until 1944.  Packaged for TV as The Little Rascals, the shorts gained new generations of fans in succeeding decades, making the cast members among the most beloved child stars in screen history.  Many of the actors led tragic lives, and some of the above met untimely ends.  The signature of William "Froggy" Laughlin is the rarest, as he perished in a traffic accident at the shockingly early age of sixteen.  (Vintage item circa 1941)
