Description:  Early sixties portrait, inscribed and signed by the TV and film actor (1934-2025) to the young daughter of an assistant director.  A scarce item from the time he was one of TV's top heartthrobs, starring in the smash-hit series Dr. Kildare (1961-1966).  Chamberlain would achieve TV superstardom all over again as the lead in the blockbuster miniseries Centennial (1978-1979), Shogun (1980), and The Thorn Birds (1983).  Films include Ken Russell's The Music Lovers (1971), The Three Musketeers (1973), The Four Musketeers (1974), The Towering Inferno (1974), and Peter Weir's The Last Wave (1977).  (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
