Description: Supremely scarce autograph album page, inscribed and signed by the tragic actress (1913-1971) who began her career under the name of Linda Winters. Despite having given a phenomenal performance as Susan Alexander Kane in the Orson Welles masterpiece Citizen Kane, Comingore would never find another role worthy of her talent. Her career ended when she was blacklisted during the McCarthy era, and by all accounts she led a troubled life thereafter. This is the only Linda Winters signature we've encountered. Signed in pencil by great character actor Jack Carson on the other side. (Vintage item circa 1938)
