Description: Scarce still from the 1937 RKO comedy, Fight for Your Lady, inscribed and signed by the renowned comic actor (second from the right). Best remembered as the voice of Sneezy in Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Gilbert provided many hilarious moments in over 200 films and TV shows from the late twenties to the early sixties. He was a memorable foil to Laurel and Hardy, Charley Chase, and other comedy stars, and appeared in some of the finest classics of the studio era including Million Dollar Legs (1932), A Night at the Opera (1935), His Girl Friday (1940), and The Great Dictator (1940). His death from a stroke occurred in 1971, when he was seventy-seven. (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
