Description:  Rare inscribed and signed (first name) forties glamour portrait.  Photograph by Ned Scott (backstamped).  The beautiful model-turned-actress (1913-1994) gave stylish performances in several film noir classics including The Mark of the Whistler (1944), The Power of the Whistler (1945), Night Editor (1946), Framed (1947), and The Woman on Pier 13 (1949).  She was John Wayne's leading lady in Nicholas Ray's 1951 war film, Flying Leathernecks.  (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
