Description:  Extremely scarce autograph album page inscribed and signed (Helen M. Westley) by the expressive-eyed character actress.  Westley is remembered for her fine roles in several Shirley Temple vehicles as well as her superb performance as Marilla in the 1934 family classic, Anne of Green Gables.  Other films include Death Takes a Holiday (1934), Roberta (1935), Showboat (1936), and Adam Had Four Sons (1941).  She passed away at sixty-seven in 1942.  (Vintage item circa mid-thirties)
