Subject:  Hurd Hatfield

Description:  Rare autograph album page inscribed and signed by the coolly handsome actor (1917-1998).  Hatfield was well cast in The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945), MGM's beautifully produced horror classic directed by the interesting Albert Lewin.  Other films include Dragon Seed (his debut; 1944), the 1947 film noir The Unsuspected, and the Biblical epic King of Kings (1961).  Signed on the reverse by singer-actress Ginny Simms.  Included:  a one-of-a-kind candid snapshot from the mid-forties.  (Vintage item circa 1945)
