Subject: Inez Gorman
Size: 3.5x5.5
Description: Thirties postcard of Hollywood Boulevard, signed on the reverse by the obscure singer-starlet (1912-1986). The operatically-trained beauty performed at the Metropolitan Opera before being signed by Twentieth Century-Fox, where she posed for some lovely glamour portraits but did not appear in a single film. Gorman had slightly better luck at MGM, with bit parts in Slightly Dishonorable (1951), Singin' in the Rain (1952), Give a Girl a Break (1953), and a few other films. Nearly nonexistent in signed material. Included: an original circa 1936 photograph by Gene Kornman of Fox (backstamped). (Vintage item circa 1936)
Condition: Very Fine Minus with minor age-related wear
