Description:  Exceptionally scarce doubleweight thirties portrait, inscribed and signed (first name) by the beautiful starlet (1915-2001).  Lancaster appeared as a chorus girl in the classic musicals Flying Down to Rio (1933), Murder at the Vanities (1934), and Hollywood Party (1934).  She also had roles in the early John Wayne Western, The Trail Beyond (1934) and the 1946 Universal horror film, The Cat Creeps.  She was a close friend of horror legend Colin Clive (Frankenstein, 1931), even billing herself "Iris Clive" in a few films.  (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
