Description:  Very rare inscribed and signed portrait from the forties.  Photograph by Morgan for Warner Bros. (backstamped).  Carson appeared in a number of classics including the popular "Two Guys" series of comedies with Dennis Morgan.  He had memorable roles in Arsenic and Old Lace (1944), Mildred Pierce (1945), Romance on the High Seas (1948), and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958), as well as a Twilight Zone episode, "The Whole Truth" (1961).  Although known for his comedic skills, Carson gave a moving dramatic performance in The Hard Way (1942).  His untimely death from illness occurred in 1963, when he was just fifty-two.  (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)

Condition:  Fine Minus with scattered small cracks and creases and three larger creases on the left edge area; signed on a dark area but fairly readable
