Description:  Rare early sixties portrait inscribed and signed by the Canadian-born actress (1922-2016) who had a fine career as a film and TV character actress.  Sherwood was a familiar face during the network era with her guest appearances on many top-rated TV shows of the time, such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Naked City, The Fugitive, Bonanza, and Columbo.  She was a regular on the late sixties sitcom, The Flying Nun (1967-1970).  Films include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958), Sweet Bird of Youth (1962), and The Changeling (1980).  (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
