Description:  Extremely rare fifties portrait inscribed, signed, and dated by the character actor as Inspector Henderson in TV's Superman, the role for which he is best remembered.  Shayne (1900-1992) also appeared in Mr. Skeffington (1944), Christmas in Connecticut (1945), Invaders from Mars (1953), The Giant Claw (1957), War of the Satellites (1958), and many other films and TV shows.  (Vintage original photograph signed in 1986)
