Description:  Scarce late fifties or early sixties publicity portrait inscribed and signed by the great and versatile character actor (1915-1983), best remembered for his roles in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and the cult TV series, Kolchak:  The Night Stalker (1974-1975).  An extremely rare item from around the time of Psycho's release.  Oakland's other noteworthy parts were in I Want to Live! (1958), West Side Story (1961), Bullitt (1968), and many network-era shows such as Perry Mason, Twilight Zone, Gunsmoke, and The Rockford Files.  He was also a cast member of Black Sheep Squadron (1976-1978).  (Vintage original photograph; true vintage autograph)
