Description: Exceptionally scarce portrait inscribed, signed, and dated on the reverse. Cooper (1876-1951) performed in Buffalo Bill Cody's historic Wild West shows before entering movies. Often costumed as Buffalo Bill, Cooper appeared in dozens of films, mostly Westerns, from the silent era to the early fifties. Credits include The Man Worthwhile (1921), Trouble in Texas (1937), They Died with Their Boots On (1941), the eternal classic Casablanca (1942), The Ox-Bow Incident (1943), and the Three Stooges short Phony Express (1943). Condition: Fine with handling creases, slight surface wear, and a small scratch on the lower left edge area
