Subject:  Virginia Huston

Description:  Surpassingly rare signature on an autograph album page.  Huston gave her most memorable performance in Jacques Tourneur's legendary 1947 film noir, Out of the Past.  Other films in her brief career include Nocturne (1946), Tarzan's Peril (1951), Flight to Mars (1951), and Sudden Fear (1952).  Huston was only fifty-five when she died in 1981.  One of the rarest starlet autographs.  The inscription and signature (affixed) of tragic child star Mitzi Green (1920-1969), who appeared in Tom Sawyer (1930), Huckleberry Finn (1931), and the Wheeler and Woolsey comedy Girl Crazy (1932), is on the reverse.  (Vintage item circa late forties)
