Description: Very rare doubleweight portrait circa late sixties, signed by the fashion designer and official couturier to Queen Elizabeth II. Amies (1909-2003) also designed costumes for a few films, most notably the Stanley Kubrick masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968). Photograph by Eddie Ryle-Hodges of London (backstamped).
